The awards, hosted by specialist funds publication, Private Equity Wire, recognise excellence among GPs and their service providers, celebrating the achievements of firms that contributed to a successful year in the private equity sector.
The publication partnered with leading financial data and software company PitchBook to shortlist firms for each category following PitchBook’s own analysis of firms in the European private equity industry. Winners are determined through a ‘peer review system’ where institutional and high net worth investors, as well as managers and other industry professionals at fund administrators, prime brokers, custodians and advisers, are invited to elect a ‘best in class’ in a series of categories.
